It's no lie, for every actor on stage there are a handful more off stage who are never seen — at least not during the show! We are constantly in need of volunteers and we'd like to invite you to get involved. For many of these roles, no prior experience is necessary. Part of our mission as a non-profit organization is to train and teach theatre. That doesn't just mean actors and actresses.

Theatrical Technicians
Theatrical Technicians
"Techies" or "Techs" as they are oft called, fulfill a broad category of off stage roles for a production. This includes, but is not limited to: lighting and sound technicians (operate lights and sound equipment); set designers, builders and painters; costume designers; prop and costume managers; stage managers and stagehands; and many other "behind the scenes" roles that are essential for any theatre production.

House
House is another broad category of volunteers that generally compromises the support staff that manages the "house" (the lobby, seating, etc) of our theatre. This may include ticket sales, ushers, serving refreshments, cleaning before and after shows, and assisting patrons.

Having our own building is a great blessing, but comes with big responsibilities. Management of our building and grounds is year round and continues with or without a production. This includes cleaning the theatre, maintaining the parking lot, maintaining utilities, making repairs, changing light bulbs, restocking restrooms and other tasks that are necessary for maintaining a safe and pleasant theatre experience. It's often not glamorous, but it's essential for our members and patrons.
